☄ First Impressions 💧 VISUAL: Alex stands at 5'4" and weighs 121 lbs. So, a lean girl at an average height. She's not incredibly athletic, but she's clearly an outdoors girl, from her rather worn sneakers, kind of dirty fingernails, and calloused hands. Looks like the kind of person who climbs a lot. Her hair's usually in a ponytail and it is very much dyed. Probably her clothes (discussed below) will make her look somewhat smaller than she is. She's got a faded scar on her right arm, usually hidden by her big ol' jacket. Looks like it was made with some kind of sharp object, like a slash of some kind. 💧 FASHION: Honestly what matters most to Alex is comfort. Comfort and...familiarity. She'll wear anything if it's clean, if it fits. Definitely doesn't mind ripped jeans, is what I'm saying. What she's going to be wearing most of the time is the above outfit, and something to note about it? Her jacket and shirt are clearly oversized, made for someone probably a head and a half taller than her to wear. Still, the jacket she's rarely separated from. She often doesn't have many accessories, sticking only to her string necklaces. 💧 DEMEANOUR: Sarcastic and laid-back, basically. Alex is a teenager, very casual and very...doesn't care what people think? Sometimes that attitude seems forced, though. A kind of...undercurrent of desperate clinging to normalcy, let's call it. One thing's for sure, she definitely doesn't seem like a "leader" type person. More of a follower. 💧 AURAL: Alex is voiced by Erin Yvette, and here's a little snippet of how she sounds! And the feel of the vocals in Oxenfree in general. The first...like, five minutes or so from the link have a good range from contemplative to panicked to inquisitive to casual to annoyed. I mostly describe her voice as medium register? Eh. Also something you'll note, people in Oxenfree talk really casually! Alex forgets words sometimes or backtracks and all that, says um and uh and like and pauses at inopportune times. When she's emotional, she tends to actually speak more clearly since she just spits out whatever's on her mind? But anyway, it's not like a stammer or nervous habit, it's just how she is. 💧 OLFACTORY: Like the sea. Like water. Maybe a sort of metallic smell as well. 💧 MENTAL INFORMATION: Okay if anyone's got a kind of...psychic sense that hasn't been nerfed completely? Trying to look in her head is kind of like going through a fog. 💧 MAGICAL INFORMATION: No magic here! ☄ OOC 💧 BACKTAGGING: I am super backtag friendly! I alternate in murdergames between boomerang and...super-not boomerang, but basically unless I am epically bogged down, I'll backtag forever, weeks out. 💧 FOURTHWALLING: No for her, please! She's already gonna have enough of a weird time. 💧 PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Not one to just jump at it, but Alex isn't touch-starved (that she knows of) and isn't averse either, so she'll go with the flow, probably. ...If she has a few memory regains- well, let's just say she'll be a little more inclined to snuggle up to people she likes. One thing, though, is that she does give physical affection to those she's grown attached to. If you are friendly with her or she likes you? There may be hugs. Go through a traumatizing event (like a murdergame) together? Expect hugs. 💧 PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: She's not trained for fighting but I refuse to believe Alex hasn't gotten in a few rumbles. Mostly watch out for her wicked elbow.
